II : Identification

Despite the large diversity of beer plants they are all distinguishable by the following traits.
I Pore One pore, macro-pore, instead of many the micro-pores found on most plants
II Transparency They are ether clear to nearly transparent, sometimes cloudy
III Hollow Center The body of the beer plant is hollow and when mature, will be filled with the much prized beer plant nector nectur.
IV Leaved Each Cervezos plant has one to three leaves.
V Tapered The structure has a wide end and a narrow end with the pore.
