Classic Alfredo Sauce ***
4 servings (w/1 pound pasta)
2 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
+ Cook pasta
+ at low heat melt the butter in a skillet.
+ mix in the cream slowly
+ add cheese.
+ stir frequently while raising heat enough to melt cheese (medium)
+ Drain pasta
+ toss pasta with sauce
+ Season with plenty of s&p
