Mushoom Stir-Fry ****
Servings: 2-4
8 oz flank steak
8 oz firm mushrooms
6 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp vegetable oil
(cantonese) wok sauce
+ if shitake mushrooms are being used cut off their stems.
+ slice mushrooms really thin (2mm)
+ slice steak really thin across the grain at an a angle.
+ rough chop meat
+ heat 1/2 the oil in wok
+ add meat and 2 cloves of the garlic
+ cook till no longer pink on outside stirring frequently
+ remove and put in bowl with its liquid
+ cover most of meat with wok sauce
+ add remaing half of oil to wok and heat it
+ add mushrooms and garlic
+ toss until wilting
+ add in meat mixture and glaze mushrooms and stir till liquid reduces
+ serve with rice.
