Pork Chops and Rice ***
3 pork chops (with bone is best)
2 tbsp oil
1/2 onion chopped
3/4 cup liquid*
1/2 cup rice
+ preheat oven to 350
+ brown chops in oil
+ remove chops and keep them warm
+ saute onion in drippings until they are soft
+ pour rice into pot or pan and add stock an water.
+ add onion and mix well
+ lay pork chops on top
+ cover with foil
+ bake for 45 minutes
+ remove foil and bake another 15 min
* amount depends on rice being used. You can use beer, beef stock, water or a combination.
