It was dry and the 'fall' mushrooms didn't really come out this
month. Maybe next month will be better. |
Don't you hate it when you are in serious pain and walking to a dentist and you have to take some time out to get some mushroom pics. Damn there were a lot of them.
These guys are on a stump that has had a year long case of the stuff right below this on it. The mushrooms love this tree.
I have found this same type of shroom growing in 3 differant locations now. I still am no closer to figuring ou what it is but it loves dead tree. Another sample can be found here second from the bottem.
Some ink cap mushrooms.
I did take a picture of the dark coffy brown gills on this one but it didn't turn out worth a damn.
Found at a church in Old Town Portsmouth VA.
These guys are common enough here. But Can't come close to identifying them because they are so generic.
I found one of these Sept of last year but the pictures I took of it sucked. Fortunatly this one came out for me to grab.
This guy was about the size of a grapefruit, but is probably a little more poisonous than grapefruit. Some kind of Amanita.
A very dry and very large mushroom. Some kind of Lepiota.
A non-bluing Bolee of some kind.
