WTC photos without the political commentary!

We couldn't go to NYC without visiting the WTC.
A lot of people say they have felt more American having been there.
Did I feel more American?
If feeling gloomy is American then yes.

The last above ground part of World Trade Center that still stands. The pit edge:

In The Pit:

Inside of all the fencing is a giant hole a 1/3 rd of a mile (1/2 a kilometer) in circumference. But you know that, well you probibly didn't messure it but you knew it was a big hole. In that whole is a rebuilt subway station.

Since I didn't look at a map before going there I didn't know that when I got off the train that I was standing in Ground Zero. The station had been rebuilt but the pit still remains.

The Surrounding buildings:

I took a great deal of pictures of the surrounding pictures in an attempt to document the damage that still existed 3 years after the main event but some of them were too dark as it was getting toward sunset and so they didn't make it here. My original intent was to do a panorama but we can't win them all.
